Not Much Thought
I was chatting one of the good guys at work today and he told me of a mate from his fishing club

Remember the last batch of floods that hit Gympie not so long ago

The weather got bad at Inskip and the rangers came along and told everyone to pack up and go as soon as they could

Everyone did so and headed for Rainbow

The garages -food stores -hotel and surf club were doing a roaring trade as the main street looked like a traffic jam of huge proportions

The police had stopped everyone from leaving town because the road on the east side of Gympie was cut

This guy had a big need to get home that night

He came up with an escape plan drive freshwater track onto Teewah beach run south to Noosa cross on the ferry and home

He only saw a few vehicles and never stopped had a great run

It raises the question do rangers and police ever talk to each other

Also it raises the question on how much of these 4x4ers know the area and what and where they can drive

I just thoght it would be a story to tell

Would not surprise me to find that all the Rangers had fled town and were nowhere to be seen!
