National Parks reply to collecting firewood within parks
Here is a reply to a letter penned by our President, Peter Richens to Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing relating to the collection of timber within national parks for campfire use.

Peter, I hope you don't mind me posting this as I thought that it is an interesting read and something that we all should be aware of.

THe public service response - straigh out of the manual ... Big Grin . Have found in the past that if you treat the rangers correctly (ie how you would like to be treated) they are general good guys (even had one chatting to our grandkids for half an hour or more about dingoes, local wildlife etc...)
